Jessica Brilli, a Long Island native, had her first solo gallery exhibition in 2014 at Walker-Cunningham Fine Art (then located in Greater Boston).  Today, as Brilli moves from emerging to established, Walker-Cunningham Fine Art presents On the Brink - the first survey of Brilli’s ascendent career.  With this exhibition of 19 original paintings created from 2013 to the present, we celebrate the work of an artist whose unique interpretation of the American Scene is both resonant and impactful. 

Brilli draws her inspiration from the objects and panoramas of mid-century American life.  Finding nostalgia and meaning in the countless Kodachrome slides and photos she collects along with vintage objects, and antique automobiles, Brilli builds views of landscapes – urban and suburban as well as objects - radios, televisions, telephones, typewriters - from a quintessential collective experience.

On the Brink is now on view online.  To view the exhibition in person, please join us for the artist’s reception on Saturday, November 20th at the Central West End home of curator and dealer Sarah B. Cunningham. Additional viewings by appointment.  Cunningham has been hosting curated exhibitions in her Central West End home since 2018. All works are available for purchase and subject to prior sale.
